Los Fulanos cut their teeth on the small but very lively Spanish Latin funk and soul scene.
The band's phonographic endeavors have been quite fantastic, releasing several cover versions on 7” vinyl on labels like Vampisoul and Lovemonk, acclaimed by every self-respecting soul dude and dudettes, and backing Joe Bataan on his album.

In 2005, a new zoo opened in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Its wild animals have been going bananas in their quest to create a more dancefloor-friendly world.

Founded in Barcelona, the 10-piece Spanish Mampön Afrobeat collective revisit the genre from a psychedelic perspective.
Their instrumental songs search for contemporary sounds and rhythms with a strong nod to the past.
Mampön's songs are heartbreaking and catchy, with a touch of film noir and B-music.

* MAKALA JAZZ FUNK BAND
The Makala Jazz Funk Band lives up to its name by alternating or combining the two rhythms, with vocals on five of them.
In this balance of forces, soul, disco rhythms and a few moments of hip-hop add nuances and consolidate a proposal that is a few steps away from the Latin and boogaloo of previous Makala releases.
